Rounded Mix

Often times, type comes in either of two varieties — squares or circles. With the exception of a few genre styles that embrace the mixing of the two as canon (i.e. Bodonis or Didones), we don’t see the two treatments mix very intentionally in modern types. This is starting to erode, with a few foundries embracing what’s possible then rounded and squared shapes come together.
