A Weekly Review of the World of Typography

Releases:

Arteria from Typofonderie is a compressed display typeface family inspired by Italian shop signs and wood type traditions. The family launched this week with an immersive mini site experience.

PolySans from Gradient Type Foundry is an ink-trappy, variable, contemporary sans project (with a Mono sister style) that satisfies the apparent need for trappy typefaces right now.

Regional is the latest family from Sudtipos of 27 styles "inspired by the Old Style Bold models from the late XIX century by different type foundries.” For the economical collector, Regional also is also sold as a Variable Font.

A year and a half after the release of the original Edge Sans, Typotheque releases Edge, a geometric slab serif typeface based on the orthogonal grid.

MD IO is a new monospaced typeface designed for legibility in code from Mass Driver on Future Fonts. Buying in early is highly recommended.
