A Weekly Review of the World of Typography

Releases:

Bold Monday has released Kristal — a versatile book face with a pleasant reading experience while giving the text a very special character and sparkle. The family is designed by Eyal Holtzman and is available in roman, italics, and an inline caps style, each across three weights.

Jeremy Tankard released Claymore this week, which expresses a unique mix of humanist and gothic inspirations in an adventurous family of 16 sans serif fonts.

Nudge is the latest release from Very Cool Studio on Future Fonts. As a self-proclaimed condensed gothic sans, Nudge flaunts its letraset and Helvetican inspirations openly and packs the letterforms in like sardines with tight tight spacing.
