Releases:



Colophon Foundry released a Scotch Roman family of 15 fonts called Selva, complete with roman, italic, and an innovative script style.


Emeritus from Blaze Type is a high contrast, calligraphic blackletter chock full of stylistic alternates and swashy tails.


Say hello to Loos, the latest release from CSTM Fonts, released through Type Network. Loos is a wide squarish sans family with language support for Latin, Cyrillic, and Georgian.


GranBlue is the latest release from Blast Foundry on Future Fonts that explores connecting high contrast letterforms and boxed text.


Reply is a is a geometric typeface designed by Francois Rappo and inspired by a typewriter rendition of Vogue Intertype. With its contemporary aesthetic, Reply has a colorful personality that references a pivotal phase in the modern American design.

FONT UPDATES:
Pangea from Fontwerk has gained italics.
☞ Feliciano Type added two additional weights to their sans family Grosa.
☞ Colophon Foundry added extra bold & black weights to Apercu Condensed.

ACCESS TO FONTS: Access: ITF (Indian Type Foundry) launched Fontshare this week —a free fonts service offering "a growing collection of professional grade fonts that are 100% free for personal and commercial use.” This is pretty wild for a major foundry to do, but upon closer inspection, it's an effort that strikes at the core of ITF’s core value of access to high-quality fonts for all. Will it also turn out to be good business? Time will tell.
